What does my money go towards?
For every $200 raised, Furniture for Families will donate a brand new twin bed, new mattress, comforter, pillow and sheet set. Any amount contributed is appreciated.
What if families don't have room for the beds (i.e. homeless)?
Non-profit partners conduct evaluations of requests to include home visits to determine the needs and space availability of the family.
How can my organization be involved?
If you'd like to serve as a donation site, contact us, and we will provide the appropriate marketing materials. Otherwise, please spread the word within your organization. Beds 4 Kids also accepts in-kind contributions of new pillows, comforters, and sheet sets, or a product or service unique to your organization.
Who is Furniture for Families?
Furniture for Families Inc. (FFF) is a non-profit charitable corporation that was the "brain child" of Ronnie and Sandra Skinner who own and operate the Ashley Furniture HomeStore in Killeen and Furniture Zone & Sleep Shop in Killeen and Copperas Cove. FFF collects good quality used furniture and provides it to those who need it. Between May 2011 to August 2013,, Furniture for Families has provided furniture for 2,396 individuals from 914 families.
